Student Council

Waroona District High School has a very active Student Council that consists of 12 very dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic students. Members are from Year 6 – Year 10, with the Head Girl and Head Boy coming from the Year 10 group.

The Student Council hosts several whole school assemblies throughout the year. They also conduct fundraisers for improvements in the school as well as supporting causes in the wider community such as Red Nose Day and Jeans for Genes Day. They represent our school in our local community, participating in important events such as the ANZAC Service.

Student Councillors are required to be good role models for our students upholding our core C.A.R.E.S values and act as mentors for new students in the school. They are the leaders of and the voice of the students of Waroona District High School and as such, are an integral part of our school community.
